My Non-Existent Lover

You stand beside me timidly

Steal a couple glances at me

I’m magnificent

So lovely that you just want to touch me

Experience me

But you don’t want to exist with me

You talk to me

Lips so plump that I almost lose myself in you

“You’re so beautiful” You say

My beauty only exists in your eyes

It exists in you

I thank you

Shyly smile at you

Try to act feminine

Try to lure you in

“I like women” you announce to me

And I give you a reassuring look as if telling you “just love me”

Just love me

Love me without thinking, without worrying

Love me with a love so free from all constrictions

Love me until I forget what love feels like

You kiss me

Touch me

Then you stop

“Let’s think of this first”

As if love requires planning

As if loving me needs scheduling

My love, what’s there to think about?

I’m a lover and so are you

And I’m proud, are you?

Do you love me the way a man loves me?

A love no one can protest against

A love so privileged that it breaks hearts just for fun

Can you empty yourself from all the pain this world has given you?

Can you love me the way a man would do?

We are unholy

Our love is nasty

People look away repulsively

We anger God

We belong in hell

We should burn the same way killers burn

Because our crime is similar to killing

People are so holy

So pure and innocent

So good hearted

They deserve heaven

And we deserve hell

You begin to cry

And the tears never stop

Because no matter how much this world loves you

You still can’t love me

You can’t love women like me

Because you are a woman like me

And women should be tied up to men

So delicate and sweet

So feminine

We are unholy

Our love is nasty

People look away repulsively

We anger God

We belong in hell

We should burn the same way murderers burn

Because our crime is similar to killing
